Is knowledge of punjabi compulsory for Punjab PCS?
Yes! For Punjab PCS, one needs to have punjabi in matriculation or have a certificate of additional punjabi language.
Also, Punjab PCS Prelims CSAT paper includes questions of Punjabi Language and PCS mains has Punjabi language paper counted for merit.
Is coaching necessary for Punjab PCS exam?
Not necessarily, but is recommended If you have prepared for Punjab PCS before or preparing for UPSC Civil Services, then you can only opt for Punjab PCs specific subjects like Statistics, Agriculture, Punjab GK, Punjabi Language etc.

PPSC is expected to announce the date for Punjab PCS soon in the year 2023 itself.

Absolutely not! Waiting for notification will be suicidal as PPSC only gives about 3 months to prepare for Punjab PCS Prelims and less than 2 months for Punjab PCS Mains. Hence, you should start your preparation right now if you want to compete with others
Can 11th-12th student start preparing for Punjab PCS?
