The Hindu, Indian Express is a must, specially their editorial section, which will help aspirants in writing effective answers in UPSC mains.

For this, one should go through the syllabus and previous year papers and take right guidance before finalising their optional. Call to book an appointment with our faculty members because our optional can make or break your attempt!
Newspapers are the best source for current affairs. In addition to that, magazines like Yojana, Kurukshetra, Down to Earth provide quality content. Regularly following our Current Affairs section, i.e. www.currentaffairs.chetanbharat.com will be sufficient for your UPSC preparation.
It takes about 9-11 months to cover the entire syllabus. However, we strongly recommend that beginners should ideally prepare in three stages- Stage 1: Foundation Stage (5-6 months) ; Stage 2: Comprehensive Coverage Stage (8-9 months) ; Stage 3: Consolidation & Testing Stage (3-4 months) before attempting this exam.

Often it has been seen that questions have come directly from NCERTs from 6th to 12th. UPSC requires an aspirant to have basic knowledge about everything, and not be a pro in all areas. And, NCERTs provide the basic understanding of all the topics of national as well as international level. However, NCERTs are important, but not sufficient.
Every day, students will be getting a subject specific current affairs class, designed by referring newspapers and important magazines and official government websites.
The course holds validity of up to 1 year. However, based on the circumstances, validity can be extended. If an aspirant clear the prelims, the course validity extends automatically for them.
CBL provides high quality, intensive notes which are prepared by our experts by referring NCERTs, Reference books, Newspapers and other relevant sources.
Each lecture is followed by PDFs of the notes.
Under each lecture, students will find "comment" section where they can post their doubts related to that lecture.
Additionally, there will be multiple weekly live doubt sessions with different faculty members. Alongside, students will be added to WhatsApp group with all the teachers in it for doubt clearance. They can also call the student support helpline to directly talk to the teachers for doubt resolution.
The lectures can be replayed any number of times till the validity. Hence, students have the liberty to watch the lectures at their own convenient time.
The teachers are available in the whatsapp groups. Also, students can call up our student support helpline to schedule a call with a particular teacher.
Each module will have sectional tests taken after completion of half module and once the entire subject is completed.
Each current affairs lecture will have prelims question as well as a mains question for practice
Along with this, on the 10th of every month, there will be a current affairs test (prelims + mains)
Once the entire syllabus is finished, there will be mock tests as well.
